Hello, today I accidentally spilt some water in my power outlet that has USB ports. My TV was on and the time and did not turn off, but as I went to dry around it I could hear a slight crackling I stood back and as I did there was a small pop and spark which I think can from one of the USB ports as the TV remained on. I have now taken the TV plug out and have not turned the outlet on again, will the socket be safe if I leave it off. I am a bit concerned about the USB ports as they do not need to be turned on to work.
