Hi claire it all depends on what type of glue was used but on tip is to heat the floor up with a heat gun or hairdryer and sometimes the glue will become more plyable so the vinyl will come up a bit easier. Good luck alan

We started to tear up vinyl in kitchen only to find they had glued particle board onto the original vinyl floors. How do we get this up?
