Repair to scratched vintage vinyl floor tiles

Posted by Wendy Donald, on
Floor was in pristine condition prior to refurbishment. Is 1970s vinyl floor tiles. A workman was careless dragging his damaged saw horse across floor, so it is now badly scratched. Does any one have a solution to dealing with this situation, or diminishing the scratches. Never empoy a relation, even under family duress!

hi wendy not too sure about this as modern vinyl tiles you can heat up to manipulate the scratches which will make them less obvious but with your ones being of that age they could contain asbestos so I would get them checked out before you do anything to them .sorry I couldn't be more helpful. alan
