We have recently bought a Victorian house with what looks like original floorboards throughout except for the kitchen diner. Unfortunately, the previous owners painted all the floorboards with black gloss, oil based paint. How difficult will it be to remove the black paint and restore the floorboards and what is the likelihood of getting a good finish?
