Tools for DIY straight cutting lenghts of hardwood flooring

What are cheap and best tools for the above in situ cutting to get straight edge for further laying. thickness = 1 cm.

Hi Niall, in my opinion, cheap and best are two words you can't use in the same sentence. Its not the tools, its the way you use them!
