Hi David. Alan is spot on. 1/ Clean subfloor as much as possible 2/ If its concrete . Use PVA to seal 3/ If Bitumen. Arditex best Compound for Levelling 4/ If Chipboard. Use 6mm Ply The subfloor is the main issue Good Luck
Hi David as everyone has said self levelling is the answer but be careful which type you use as not all of them are compatible when there is glue residue and it may not take to the floor. Alan
Hi David Simply lay self levelling compound over the adhesive, you will only need a skim over, much easier than chipping it all up. Kind regards Ian Handyman express
Self leveling compound would do the job mix to a thick liquid pour out & move around with a trowel And will find its level G. Branch plastering
Hi David I would suggest to buy a bag of self leveling combound first then using trowel to spread all over area ( wait a couple days to dry)then lay laminate underlayer then a floor Best regards Rafal
Get a bag of self leveller& trowel it over the whole area leave for a few days to fully dry then lay the laminate
