Should flooring be fitted under door frames?

Posted by Sam Walker, on
Our builders are charging us thirty six pounds per square meter to lay engineered wood. For this amount should we expect them to fit the wood *under* the doorframes, or is it reasonable for them to cut the flooring *around* the doorframes and then to fill the gaps with filler?

If the 36 pounds per meter is just for fitting then that is extremely expensive but regardless of what your paying then the job should be done properly with door archives under cut with flooring put underneath. Hope this helps . Alan
