Levelling a concrete floor and laying vinyl flooring

Posted by Hannah McAleese, on
Prior to a new kitchen being installed in April, I need the concrete floor either repaired and/or levelled. I intend to lay vinyl floor over this once it's level - hoping to find someone who could do both parts of this job. Would need advice on what levelling compound to buy. I plan to buy the vinyl flooring from B&Q wood effect range. Does this sound like a reasonable job? I tried posting it under 'screeding' to no response (even after getting it highlighted). Have now posted it under 'polished concrete'... any advice would be great!

Hi Hannah I would suggest putting under vinyl and rubber flooring as the the two sections you put it under are not flooring as such and most fitters that fit vinyl should be able to install self levelling compound to smooth your concrete floor. Hope this helps alan
