Hi Jessica Firstly when laying wooden floors you need to be sure that the flooring has had the correct time to aclimatise to the house, this information should have been on the box and can take from 24 hours to 3 weeks. Second has there been a damp proof membrane laid under the flooring, this is essential when laying over concrete as the relative humidity of the concrete below and air above is different and can cause the wood to expand causing cupping or a dome in the flooring Thirdly has the fitter left enough expansion around the edges, l recommend leaving as much as possible so that skirting boards or edging trims cover no more than absolutely needed To fix this is very tricky unless it's just a case of trimming edges more (if they accessible), lack of a damp proof membrane is not possible to fix without removing the flooring. If its just due to expansion problems then this might settle of its own accord but equally may never do so. While not offering to .any fixes to the problem you maybe able to find the cause Martin
