What's the matter with my floor

Posted by Nikki Barfield, on
I got a laminate wood floor professionally fitted by someone who said he held a diploma in fitting laminate flooring and had 10 years experience. The floor was down only a week maximum and is lifting, bowing and parting it's a real mess. Is this due to the fitting? The man says it is not and refused to correct. I have pictures of the way it has been laid if anyone can help.

I would be surprised if there was a qualification in fitting laminate but there does seem to be qualifications now for the most weird and wonderful things. Ask to see it is the simple answer to that. The flooring blowing and warping I would say is from water. Either the joints are no tight or sealed or you have a leak.

What would you like to do now?
