Hi, we're considering going for a polished concrete floor in the downstairs of out property. At present there is laminate flooring over the top of a concrete base. It seems pretty flat but we have yet to lift the laminate.
What's the likely cost if the concrete base is in good condition? Do we need to apply a special top layer to the existing concrete and then have it polished and sealed/treated? Or can the existing concrete probably be used and sealed?
Our room is about 20ft by 12ft.
