Here are a few tricks that have proven to be particularly effective: Treat with rubber. Since scuff marks on laminate floors are typically the result of rubber residue sticking to the surface, an effective way to treat them is with other rubber products. Take a regular pencil eraser or the sole of a tennis shoe and rub the skid mark using a circular motion. The mark should gradually fade, leaving your floors looking perfect again. If your floor is a lighter shade, it might be a good idea to test a small, discreet area first to make sure the eraser and/or tennis shoe doesn't produce any discoloration. Gently scrub with baking soda or toothpaste. If your floor doesn't respond to the above method, you can try gently scrubbing with baking soda or toothpaste. First mix two tablespoons of baking soda with a small amount of water until the solution is the consistency of a smooth paste. Next, use a clean cloth to lightly scrub the scuff marks with the baking soda paste until they disappear. Alternatively, you can substitute plain toothpaste for the baking soda solution. In both cases, be sure to wipe the treated area thoroughly with a wet cloth when finished to remove any lingering residue. Apply WD-40. If you think WD-40 is only good for rusty bicycle chains and squeaky door hinges, think again. It is actually a very versatile product with many practical applications, and is gentle enough to use even on ultra-shiny piano finish laminate. To eliminate stubborn scuff marks from this kind of floor surface, simply spray a bit of WD-40 onto a clean rag and rub away the smudges. Follow up with a wet cloth to get rid of any remaining traces of lubricant. We wish you all the bets to get the marks out or please email us incase this tips didn't work so we can help you futher.
