Our house was built around 20 years ago and lots of corners were cut - particularly with the floors. They are panel boards screwed to joists but done badly. Every time anyone moves upstairs it’s so loud. I would like to either redo the floors or remove the carpets and put decent wooden floor down. I’m not sure of the best solution but I can’t stand it any more! It’s 4 bedrooms and some stairs. Can anyone help?
