My father has beautiful hardwood floor but had laminate on top. When we removed the laminate, underneath was some kind of thick black glue or something that held the laminate on. It looks like dried up tar and is thick. I have manage to scrape up a small amount but it took forever to get that little bit up. It's awful. Do you know what that could possibly be and how to get it off?
