Hi Paul, I agree with both. If you agree for flowering of weeds you agree for new weeds, That is all. Good luck. Bozena

Ha ha, good question Paul. Essentially a weed is a plant in the wrong place. Many plants that we consider to be weeds are just plants that thrive in our climate and are very good at propagating. This time of year offers perfect growing conditions with lots of rain and warmth, as a result we see a huge explosion of growth. If you want your garden to be weed free you'd better get down to battle as soon as possible. If you let them seed the problem will only multiply. Good luck and happy gardening. Craig

Hi Paul, the simple answer. Is. The time of year and the weather, most seeds cast on the wind will germinate when the ground temperature rises in the spring helped by the sun and the rain. Many people will use low maintanance schemes to reduce the growth of weeds after all a weed is only a plant in the wrong place. Regular maintenance and good planting will reduce the unwanted plants/weeds in your Garden. Hope this helps Harvey
