Can someone tell me the best way of getting rid of ivy from rendering. Is there some sort of ivy killer spray available?

Hi, I don't know how old is your ivy but you can use roundup http://www.pitchcare.com/shop/ivy-weed-killer/index.html?telx=01902-440268&gclid=CKGivIiuiLICFaXJtAodAX4AYA.. You can call them and ask which one is the best for you. Also you should remember that rhizomes of ivy are very long and it still can be under the top level of soil. Hello Lisa, The best way of removing Ivy from walls is to cut a section between the roots and the foliage of about a meter. Leave the ivy to die off and turn brown, then pull it off. Dig up as much of the root as you can, then spray the new shoots as they emerge with weedkiller. Most importantly keep a constant look out for new shoots coming up as it's very hard to get it all on the first attempt. Good luck, Craig
