What´s the best plant to grow a green fence in thye front of a house? We are looking for a dense, low maintainence, bush like that can be shaped & grows fast.

Hello Gabriel, I'd avoid conifers if I were you as they are less hardy than other options and if left to get a little out of control can be hard to fix. Personally I would choose a privet (ligustrum ovalifolium) every time. They grow fast, look good, are semi-evergreen, good to shape and tough as old boots! Cheers, Craig

hi, conifers - yew, arborvitae (thuja), hemlock, juniper, redcedar, spruce leafy - laurel, barberry (prickly), firethorn (prickly), dogwood (not evergreen but decorative branches), cotoneaster, hornbeam, ninebark, mock, snowberry, spirea All plants need trimming few 2-4 times a year. Thanks Bozena
