I would like to add a terrace in my garden, using a 3ft high wall with a concrete rendered finish. What bricks should be used & how deep should the footings be?

Hi James, you can use lightweight blocks for the wall ie breeze blocks, and then render them. The footings need to be twice the width of the blocks and 300 mm deep. Hope this helps. Harvey
