My grass on tiny front garden is bald in most places. Way can I do to get a nice lush lawn? Or should I just get it paved over?

Hello Carole, The first thing to decide is do you have the time to maintain the lawn. That is are you able to keep it cut nice and even over the summer at least fortnightly but ideally weekly. If the answer is no then look at other options (paving being one). Also do you have a dog who uses the lawn? If you do this could be the reason it's patchy (wee kills grass). To get the lawn looking good, turf or seed the patches. Feed the lawn regularly during the summer and autumn (water if needed as well), treat for moss and broad leaf weeds as required. Scarify in Autumn (a light scarify in spring would prob help as well) and hollow tine if drainage is a problem. I hope this helps, of course an alternative would be to employ a decent gardener who could do all this for you! Cheers, Craig Spruce Garden Services Edinburgh & Lothians
