Poisonous plant identification

Posted by Katy Phillips, on
Would a gardener be able to identify any poisonous plants in our garden, and would this be a job someone is likely to do for us? (we're happy to take any out ourselves if they identify it necessary, we just don't know what plants we've got!)

Hello Katy, The simple answer is yes a gardener should be able to identify the plants in your garden (poisonous or otherwise). Unfortunately there are a lot of gardeners out there who have very limited horticultural knowledge. A good gardener would also of course charge you for this service. I'd probably recommend you try and find out if any of your neighbours are keen gardeners and ask their advice. Cheers Craig Spruce Garden Services Edinburgh & Lothians
