Hi Tegun It is best to specify the maximum detail necessary for the customer works. Ideal if you have a photo, let these minor details will be for you, but for us artisans every detail of your order is important. Do not worry if you do not immediately take your order - perhaps your budget does not cover our costs. You can always upgrade your bid for the work ..... I hope it will help you Regards Segejs

More detail the better and also be realistic on your budget as a low budget will put a lot of trades off quoting.

Hi Tegun, The more information you put the easier it is for a tradesman to make a decision about purchasing the lead. If you are not having a very high response from your original job it may be a good idea to cancel it and resubmit with as much detail as possible. Tom

More details the better, also a lot of turfing jobs one here are originally posted with low budgets to start with, increasing the budget will improve tradesmen's interest. Thing is, some people just pop along to B&Q see poor quality cheap turf, do the maths and assume that's the cost they can get it done for. Hope that helps. Hello Tegun, Yes, I'd recommend cancelling the post and posting another with as much detail as possible. Cheers Craig Spruce Garden Services Edinburgh & Lothians

Hi I would suggest cancelling the job and re wording as it obviously has not attracted the interest you hoped. Remember the trades people have the choice to purchase your enquiry or not. The more detail the better. detail should consist of a description of existing ground, if there are bushes, trees or plants to be removed or cut back. Is it flat or on a slope. Try to give the trades person an idea of how much work would be involved. Also be realistic about your budget. As a guide for all prep and full lay it can cost between £10 to £12 per square meter for a professional fit. All the best Gary
