Fencing

Posted by Caroline Emanuel, on
Thanks for the reply. I'm posting a job, am I better off supplying the materials myself or leaving to the tradesman to get the fencing and gravel boards? The job is installing a 90ft fence...

Hi Caroline, It depends entirely on your own preference. If you are comfortable buying the materials then ask the tradesman to supply you with a list of what you need to buy. In my experience it is better to let the tradesman buy the materials because it is likely he will have a trade account and get a lower price or at least match consumer price but with better quality materials. As I said, the choice is up to you and what you feel most comfortable with. Hope this helps. Kind regards Tom
