Shed base 10 x 14, concrete or wood?

Posted by jules finch, on
Hello. I'm looking to have a shed base built at the top of my garden, it is very marshy up there. I'm looking at having a 10 x 14 shed but am unsure what sort of base to go for? How much should I be looking at for a concrete or wooden frame? All advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks,
Craig Young

Hello Jules, Avoid a wooden frame is the area is particularly wet as the wood will rot. Look to have a properly laid concrete slab or poured concrete base installed. It's hard to say what sort of budget you'll need without seeing the site but it's prob going to be around the £500 mark. Cheers, Craig Spruce Garden Services Edinburgh & Lothians
