Thinning of tree branches

Posted by Claire Guy, on
When is the best time of year for a tree's branches to be thinned ? Trees are not being removed - they are just overgrown and branches need thinning to allow sunlight into garden.

Depends on the type of tree, but generally from Autumn through to spring. Depending on what it is you could still do it now but may loose flower or fruit.

What would you like to do now?
