We have a mature wisteria growing up one side of our house. It is very overgrown and is creeping up over the roof and onto the chimney stack. It has several woody trunks at the bottom (approx 3") and one has spiralled up a drainpipe and pulled it off the wall. How do we best reduce its size and free up the drainpipe and roof without removing this beautiful plant/tree from our house?
