Astro Turf

How long does it take to lay Astro Turf for a small area (5m x 2.5m) and what is involved?

Hello Sylvie, Artificial lawns, if done properly, will need the existing ground digging out followed by a hardcore sub-base putting down and then a further layer of sand on top. For the area you have described, it would most likely need two pieces joining and fixing to a wooden frame around the perimeter of the area. There are many different grades of artificial grass so be sure to have a look at a sample before you make a decision. It should take about 3 days from start to completion for a job this size.
