Having patio laid in blocks do we need to seal them?

I think Roy is talking about sealing the blocks with a brush/roll on sealer nothing to do with the joints, this helps to retain the colour (especially on concrete blocks) and prevent staining. Well worth doing, you could ask for it to be sealed by the installer or do it yourself. Ed

Hi Depending on the width of joint between the blocks would depend if they could be sealed big very little joint eg, 2mm then kiln dried sand can be brushed into them which fills any voids. Hope this helps
