Hi Barbara, I have completed a few of these tiered gardens in recent times. Its very important to remember that you will have to have a new solution for the sides as well as the back. Think of where your current fence is now. Now imagine removing the earth below it. I would advise professional help. Also if you decide to use a concrete or brick solution don't forget you will need seep holes to allow excess water to flow out.
