I've advertised a gardening job and had a tradesperson (Deans tree care) from your site come look and give me a verbal quote but he didn't have any pictures of old jobs to show me and when I've tried to click on your profile for him it just takes me back to your homepage ? He said he was too busy to email a quote ?

Hi Neil, A company should have an up to date profile and be able to provide a quote otherwise, as Antony said, it's better off re-posting your job (if you still need quotes). We always encourage homeowners to carry out their own checks and read ratings of several tradespeople before they make their decision as well as following our homeowner checklist (rated.co.uk/checklist). I can also see there was a technical issue with the tradesperson's profile which I have since updated and you will be able to see this now. Thanks, Josh Ask an expert team

Hi there... my advice don't waste your time on someone that can't me bothered to one fill out his profile and second can't give a quote email or written.. Gives us other trades a misrepresentation, re-advertise your job,add more detail and maybe raise the price to obtain more interest.
