A gas safe registered fitter would know the answer to that so you might want to check to see if your fitter is registered

GSafe guy installing a new combi...can the gas supply pipe be rerouted above the floorboards & then down into the boiler? Is this safe / legal?

Hi Gas Safe register engineer should have a card on him. Ask him for a card first than ask him if is legal;)
