Hi Beverley I'm assuming you have a combi if so the most likely problem is your domestic hot water heat exchanger is faulty not allowing the water to heat at full rate the only way to know for sure is to get a gas safe engineer in to have a look for you. Hope this helps.
Hi Beverley if you have combi boiler heat exchanger need looking at or diverter valve but I am assuming is heat exchanger faulty as is not allowing to heat water at full rate. Check first thermostat on a boiler and adjust to full temperature. If still will be same problem definatelly heat exchanger need replacement. Always remember that if work will required to do on your boiler only fully qualified gas engineer can carry work;) I hope this help. Regards Rafal
