Hi Albert If tank is overfilling and discharging a water by overflow it means that filling valve is faulty and needs replacing. Water is coming from mains so if you are on metrr I would suggest to get it sortes ASAP as you water bill will increase dramatically. I hope this can help. Best regards Rafal
