Hi I’m thinking of buying a house with old storage heaters, I want to replace them with either gas central hating or a wood burner/open fire. (prefer the latter)
The property is a two bed semi bungalow. There is a four pot chimney stack in the centre of the roof but no sign of a chimney breast in the house, I haven’t had a chance to look in the loft yet- although I think I felt a hearth underfoot in one of the rooms.
Q – which heating option would be quickest/cheapest to install and by how much? I know if would need Corgi/Heatas engineer for technical elements but would be happy to do labouring myself.
