Uponor underfloor heating will not come on?

Posted by Annie Marriott, on
Our uponor underfloor heating will not come on. We have tried everything. We moved in a couple of months ago and this is the 1st time we have wanted to use it. No problem with the hot water at all.

Hi Annie I have read your question. Its mostly the pump as it may have been used for a long time, or an air lock in the system as common, may have been filled to fast. Under floor heating can be difficult to work with you may be better off contacting rated for a quote. regards steve

An experienced suitably qualified trades person should be able to identify the problem fairly quickly. It may be a problem caused by an air lock, or pump failure etc. Whoever you get round will check the pump and bleed any excess air out. You may have different underfloor loops feeding your other rooms, from a manifold. So they may well shut down all the other loops down to force an the pressure through the loop that has a possible air lock problem, if thats the problem etc. Hope this helps
