Flush

Posted by Steve Monks, on
I have black water dripping from a part in my water tank cupboard. The mpe322. I have been advised I need to flush. Could anyone give me a guide of budget needed for this so I can repost the job with the right budget. Please tell me the minimum and highest. Any other relevant advice welcomed also.

Hi Steve, I usually do Powerflush for £320 for an average sized system, which includes chemicals. Pls check my feedback, as I've done a lot of powerflushes. Pls get in touch if you would like a quote. Regards lloyd

Hi Steve, the valve in question is a mid position diverter valve. This valve controls which way the heat is diverted in the system ie to the heating or the hot water. My advice would be to post a job on rated for the replacement or repair of this valve. I would suggest up to £250 including the part if necessary. It would be best to ask the engineer you hire to assess the need for a system flush when he/she is there and they can give you a more accurate price based on the amount of radiators, how dirty the water is etc.

What would you like to do now?
