Converting to wood burning stove

We live in a small bungalow with a gas fire in the lounge, the chimney stack on the roof was removed and now there is a flue that goes out through the sloping roof. We are thinking of converting to a wood burning stove and wonder what sort of job it would be and the likely cost.
