If you got the right person to do the job then he would let you know that on rad have to be without a trv as to give the heat some where to go. Always use a qualified heating engineer to work on your system.

I am about to have a TRV fitted to all my radiators, including the radiator in the kitchen. My boiler cupboard is also in the kitchen. Your 'tips' say never put these in the same room as the boiler.
None of the tradesmen have mentioned this. Have I misunderstood?
