If you were to look at Air Source Heat Pumps then it could be very efficient, however there is a cost to this on Installation and you would have to change your radiators as they would operate at 50oc and not 60. Generally electric boilers and heating are far more expensive to buy, Install and run. It would make far more sense to upgrade to a good quality condensing boiler, very efficient if installed correct. Tim
