Hi Sheila, I think 14 years is a good innings for an old boiler. If it's running ok and you get it serviced every year you might get a couple more years out of it but if it's started playing up I wouldn't spend a lot if money fixing it as it probably won't be cost effective in the long run. If it was me, I would get a new boiler for piece of mind. Make sure that you get at least a 5 year warranty for the new boiler if you decide to get it. Thanks, Vinny.
