Electric boiler not producing enough hot water anymore

Posted by Simone Melia, on
I have a Telford Trident electric boiler that's approx 4 years old and although it still produces some hot/warm water, both the temperature and the amount of hot water has decreased dramatically to where it's almost impossible to get one shower from it. Is it likely I will need a new boiler or can it be repaired? I live in London and have heard that sometimes the hard water means it needs to be flushed out.
