Combi Boiler

Posted by Graham Glover, on
I have bought a valliant Ecotel plus 838 Combi Boiler. I want to have the old boiler in the kitchen and water tanks in the loft removed. Central heating system will need to be flushed through before New combi boiler installed in the ist floor airing cupboard. A vertical flu about 3 meters long will need to go up through the loft and roof. It will also need a 28mm gas supply pipe from gas meter on ground floor to New boiler on the 1st floor. Fitter to supply flu and I will supply the timer and make good brickwork in the kitchen where old flue removed. I will also remove redundant ch and cold water tanks as well as pipes in the loft. I will also remove hot water cylinder. I want to list this job on this site but not sure what is a fair amount for doing this reconfiguration work .

Hi graham would it not be best to put the combination boiler in the loft? and the gas run could be done externally from the gas meter instead of running through the ground floor to first? Best liam
