Hi there. It is within the regulations to move a 'second hand appliance' but the engineer would probably need to assess the appliance first. If he/she felt it was in good enough condition and the manufacturers details were still visible (they are often invisible with age) then a move is possible. It is important that the 'data label' is visible and it the manufacturers instructions are available. This way the engineer knows what outputs to look for on decommissioning.
