Worchester 28 Cdi boiler problem.

Posted by Kev Beck, on
The hot water light that should stay light starts to blink and we lose hot water. We have had worchester out twice to look at it, they say they have replaced everything that can go wrong and state we have now got a new boiler because of all the parts they have replaced. But still the problem is there. They engineers say the only thing it can be is the flue. But sometimes we can go aweek and its ok, other times there's nothing for 3 days. Can the flue have can effect on the boiler I thought it was there to remove the fumes?

What have they replaced? Flues are for removing products of combustion and for providing air for combustion and cooling. Worcester promise a fixed price repair and have now decided that your job is going to start costing them money so they have passed the responsibility of fixing it on you by saying that it is basically unrepairable. Have one last go at it by not phoning Worcester and get a gas fitter from rated people with good reviews and avoid large bills from Worcester in the region of what.... something like 275 plus VAT and no fix!!??
