Electric Instant Hot Water System

Posted by David Oldfield, on
Our home is 100% electric. We currently have storage heating, which to be honest we're looking to remove as it doesn't work how we need it. Our hot water is timed and when the tank has been used IE: a bath, we need to wait for it to be re-heated via the boost. If on the timer it was be on the wrong time of day etc. I've had a look online for instant hot water solutions when using Electric, purely in a bath scenario, IE: run a bath, empty and then another one can be run for a different person straight after. I'm left slightly confused going online as the various posts go off on various tangents and speak about various water pressures etc. Our water pressure is good. Slightly separate to that, if the same applied to the kitchen sink, would there need to be a separate part to provide instant hot water for the sink, than the bath, or can something be added at a single point to provide hot water for both. Granted this may be a tricky question given the set up of our house. We do have a boiler in one room, with jacket and a separate tank in the loft, which isn't insulated. Thanks in advance.
