I would use a builder for the fireplace build. Then get a gas fitter in. Make sure they talk and build an opening suitable for your chosen fire.

Hi,
I just wanted to know roughly how much to list the job for?
Essentially I need the old brick fireplace taken out (removed if possible), and the new one installed by a gas safe person.
