Kitchen air vents (gas regulation)

Posted by Gisella Gray, on
Hello, I would like to know, for gas regulations, how big and where the air vents needs to be fitted. At the moment the old/original air vent is 23cmx23cm fitted in the wall in the corridor near the kitchen, and its like having a small window constantly open. The kitchen is so cold during the winter months ! My kitchen is about 3.20mt x 2.20mt leading to a corridor 1.50mt x 0.80mt. Three years ago I had a new Dorchester Boiler fitted (in a cupboard just above the kitchen sink) has a pipe connected to the wall.Thank you

I would recommend contacting a gas safe registered company and they could visit you to appraise you
