Unvented Hot water system leaking

Posted by Chris , on
I have a Santon Premier Unvented hot water system that seems to have a lot of water dripping through the tundish. It’s only came to my attention in the cold weather as the tundish is actually overflowing with water (I assume the discharge/outlet pipe is frozen somewhere down the line and its building up??). I thought it was only after we used the hot water for a shower but the water appears to be discharging quicker when the heating is on for a while too. I suspect the whole system is overheating because the heaters seem to go a lot hotter than usual, but I’m just guessing at this point. What is likely to be causing the problem here?

No expansion in the expansion vessel due to it not being serviced Defective hot or cold water relief because of no expansion in the expansion vessel
