It’s all good. The boiler tries to maintain the desired temperature you set on the thermostat. So it turns on when the room is dropping temperature- and off again when it reaches desired temp!
Boiler issue - maybe?

My boiler is running fine. I have a worchester bosch combi with a room thermastat. When turning the heating on the boiler fires up and the heating stays on until ut reaches temp or I turn it off. The issue is I have noticed that sometimes when the heating is on the green boiler ignition light is off but everything still works then I look again and the light is back on. Is this a issue or is that nornal?
