As part of a kitchen installation job, I have a 4.1m Duropal 670mm deep laminate breakfast bar (postformed edges on both long sides which will be cut down from 4.1m to 1.05m) which needs two radius curved ends at the end that comes into the kitchen (we don't want sharp edges here). Is this a job that any kitchen fitter can do using jigs, etc, and applying edging tape afterwards to the exposed areas?
This breakfast bar piece will be adjoining a standard 600mm deep laminate worktop at right angles along the wall. How does one join a postformed edge to exposed chipboard on the adjoining laminate piece? Will the postformed edge need to be sawed or shaved?
