Gas hob needs repairing

I have a Neff Gas Hob on which one of the jets doesn't work at all and the others are not so easy to light. What kind of tradesman do I need to repair safey ? Thanks

A gas engineer. Most heating engineers are capable, some plumbers. They MUST be registered with Gas Safe with CKR1 on their licence card. You can search online at the Gas Safe website for local engineers, alternatively post a job on this site and the relevant trades person will respond to you directly. It may be more cost effective to have the hob replaced. Although the thermocouples on most models are inexpensive to buy the labour for exchanging them might be extensive. Jan South Coast Boilers
